Here she is again

This is the second one, although I think I have uploaded them in the wrong order! LOL. I have coloured her with distress inks, embossed and distressed a swiss dots card, placed that on a wallpaper sample. The flowers are made with nesties, and gold brads from stash. I made the little envelope and distressed that too, and the tag is a sizzix with gold band from my stash.
Thanks for looking (if anybody actually did) LOL. Get the feeling I am waffling to myself here!

Tilda hugs

Hallo all, I 've been busy! My OH is away for four days, so I have been making cards. I have loads of new Christmas stuff, but Have made no other normal cards for ages. So my goal is to get something other than Christmas done. I have been stocking up on my "male" cards as well, got five "George" cards in the box.
Here is my first Tilda for today. I have used Tilda with straw, but changed it to lavender. I have stamped onto normal card (I usually use watercolour paper) and then used Papermanias elegant paper. Under that is an old piece of velum that I stamped with some swirls in gold, not that you can see them. The pearls are from my stash. The flowers I have made using nesties and a punch, using the same backing paper for the pink. The centre pink flower is a prima. I have also used pink papermania gems in the flowers.

NEW BABY

Greetings again. Well since last time, I became an Aunty! My sister had a little (large) boy on Monday, and I made this Tilda card for her. I have coloured him with watercolour pencils, mounted onto blue glitter card. The white circle is two Nesties inside each other, on a white Cuttlebug Swiss dots card. The little feet were bought in SA years ago, and the ribbon is from Panduro. The little alphabet beads are from my stash and say James.

Autumn Tilda

Greetings from Finland! Autumn is here and it is rather chilly! To add insult to injury, on Friday morning when I went to work, the windows of my car were foggy, so I wound them down to clear the fog, and the one on the passenger side got stuck!! It was only 4 degrees outside, and I had to drive round with the window open. I took it to the local garage and they could not fix it, as it was a sealed unit, so it has to go to the VW agents. Hopefully I can get it there this week as it is getting COLD!!! LOL
Today I have made a card for a friend, who is having a party next weekend, to celebrate her 40th and the fact that she has just graduated with a BSc. She is not a "girly" girl, so I chose these autumn colours. I am giving her a voucher for a hot stone massage, so I have made this as a pocket to put the voucher in. Cuttlekids alphabet, Tilda in a flurry, Tilda's horse, prima flowers and then I have punched out a mass of leaves from scraps of card. I have sprayed the whole card with Perfect pearls, so it is all shiny.
Thanks for looking!

Another Tilda

Posted by PicasaGreetings from Finland! It is STILL raining! I know there are people around the world who need the rain, but we have got enough thank you!
Last night I put together another Tilda card. I have quite a stash of coloured images waiting to be put together. This is the same stamp again from the so heavenly collection. I have used the Anita's Christmas paper and inked the edges with Distress ink. The sentiment is also from Magnolia. I have coloured Tilda with water colours and then H2Os over the top The large snowflake is a Sizzix on glitter paper, and the small ones are from an old punch I found in my stash. I am waiting for a parcel with a whole lot of Christmas goodies to arrive. I can see myself having fun soon. My OH is going away for 4 days next week,so that means no cooking!!! I am a good mother and cook properly every day, but on the rare occasion that OH is not home, its pizza, fish fingers, hamburgers etc. Kids think I am WONDERFUL! LOL. I cant wait for 4 days of card making!

MILs simple birthday card

Posted by PicasaGood morning to you all! I am in a real huff this morning. It is MILs birthday next week, and OH has promised her that we will come for the weekend. Now I dont object to going, BUT JUST NOT THE WHOLE WEEKEND!!! I just find with two full time jobs, and four kids, and OHs sporting interests, we just never seem to find the time to spend at home. Oh WHEN will someone create that 8th day, so we can fit everything in???
Anyway, moan over. I made a quick card for MIL, using peel offs (yes Nicks PEEL OFFS), as I did not think she would appreciate a Tilda card. I have used a craft tonic card blank, and stuck the butterflies onto Pamermanias vellum's and trimmed round them. The big butterfly got squashed by the scanner, but stands 3D. Then I have just doodled with a gold sakura pen. I know that it is very basic, but if you knew my MIL, you would know that I am quite happy with it!
I hope you all have a good day!
Jill
Oh, and by the way, this idea is STOLEN from somewhere, but I cant remember where. I either saw it in a mag, or on someones gallery!

So heavenly 2

Well, here I am again, feeling very sorry for myself, as not many people have found my blog!!!
I have posted another card, using the same Magnolia stamp, but as a Christmas card. I have made her dress from homemade paper and coloured the rest using watercolour pencils. Of course, Stickles for her wings and dabbed here there and everywhere. Both the dove and the "God Jul" stamp are from Magnolia. Although you cant see much of the backing paper it is from Papermania, and I have mounted Tilda onto cream card, distressed with Rangers. The pearls and hearts are from my stash.
I hope you like it.
Here's wishing you all a lovely weekend and take care

So heavenly

This is one of the new Tilda stamps from the so Heavenly collection. She is beautiful! The stamp turned out to be a lot bigger than I imagined. I have coloured her using watercolour pencils and H2Os over the top. Her wings are Stickels. The butterfly is a Penny black from the Easter clear collection (I think) and the flowers are Prima. The leaves are from my stash and bought in South Africa years ago. I hope you like it, and thanks for looking.
I got so excited to see that someone had actually found my blog, so thanks to Annie and Kath, you made MY day!
Hugs

href="http://magnoliachallengeblog.blogspot.com"> Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

There is just no stopping me now!!! Can't really understand why I thought this was so difficult.

This is one of my favourite Tilda cards! I have mounted Anita's Christmas paper. inked the edges, on navy card then on a pale blue background. )I have coloured Tilda using distress inks and stickles for the sparkly bits. The snowballs, also a Magnolia stamp are applied with foam pads. The wording is in Swedish, computer generated,"Merry Christmas, an a happy new year"

FINALLY!!! I have managed to add a picture!!! This is one of my first Tilda cards I made. Now that I have worded out HOW to upload a photo, I will try and find some time and get my new cards uploaded.

Thanks for looking!
